Born from a commitment to community wellbeing.
Founded by Rev Dr Lusayo Efraim Mwanganya and Rev Mrs Charity Mwanganya, LCMF was established to address challenges affecting women, adolescent girls, children, young people and underserved households in Malawi.
Its approach recognises that education, livelihoods, personal wellbeing and the environment shape one another. LCMF therefore intends to begin with manageable, measurable initiatives built with local communities rather than imposing one-size-fits-all services.
A foundation in its first chapter.
Incorporated in Malawi
LCMF became a private company limited by guarantee, company number COYG-NKNT45EB.
Community engagement and project design
Traditional chiefs have been approached, and mothers’ clubs are being engaged around the proposed Msundwe girls’ initiative. Preparatory work does not mean project delivery has been completed.
Test, learn and grow carefully
Subject to funding and approvals, LCMF aims to pilot locally, track progress and consider wider work only where evidence and safeguards support it.
Let’s build lasting progress together.
